Joe Kendhammer graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1972, with a B.S. in Education and taught High School (Speech, English, Debate and Theatre) in Minnesota from 1972 to 1977. While teaching, he was admitted to the graduate program at the University of Minnesota and completed his course work for an M.A. in Communications.  Joe, his wife Jody and their young son, Justin relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1977.  After three years of work as a manager in the retail grocery business and the addition of a second son, Joe decided that it was time to fulfill a long held ambition. He attended the Arizona State University College of Law and, in 1983, he obtained his J.D. (Cum Laude, Order of the Coif).  He was admitted to the Bar and practiced with Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix, Arizona from 1983 to 1989.  He then joined Ridenour, Swenson, Cleere & Evans, P.C. in Phoenix, Arizona as a partner.  Joe spent approximately the next ten years as a senior partner heading the Commercial Litigation and Medical Malpractice Group at Ridenour, Swenson, Cleere & Evans, P.C., before breaking away to form Kendhammer & Partners, L.L.P. in August 1998.  He has worked in the areas of commercial litigation and professional liability since 1998 and has handled complex medical litigation on a routine basis.
